Miniature Probes

FTO offers single or multiple fiber probes in needle or custom ferrules. Fibers can be flat or angle polished and can include micro-optics such as lenses, windows, filters and prisms. Number and routing of fibers can be specified to meet the requirements of applications requiring precision fiber positioning in small packaging.

Reflectance Probe

FTO custom reflectance probes are designed to meet the requirements of any application.

Typically using 7, 19, 37 or 61 fibers with a center illumination or collection fiber, probes can include different fiber sizes and types. The center fiber can be isolated to avoid back reflectance.

Standard or custom terminations are available and can be specified to meet applications for high temperature or pressure, including windowed ends. Probes can be any length with complete flexibility on common and leg configuration. Fibers for use from the Deep UV to MIR can be combined for the most versatile designs.
